Merry Christmas! Here’s My Gift to You
After six weeks on the journey of a singleton navigating the festive period we have finally made it to the big day!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thanks to each and every single one of you for all your support throughout the year, and all the best for 2023.
Here’s a complete list of all the guides released for the #JingleLadies project, unfiltered and honest – Don’t say I don’t treat you 😉
Christmas and the holiday season can be a tricky time for many of us… Whether it’s Love Actually, The Holiday, the John Lewis advert or the fact no ones bought us Ferrero Rochers… These are a few things that can give us the RIGHT ICK on Christmas Day.
If you’ve been with me on this recent journey and are experiencing the silence of singleness, it’s likely you’re feeling a bit more Bridget Jones than Brigitte Bardot today, and that’s absolutely fine. Congratulations for making it through, you truly do deserve to enjoy all the Christmas trimmings because like Lily Allen once said – It’s hard out here for a bitch.
There’s just two things left for us to conquer on this joyous day…
- Yep. You guessed it… The dreaded ‘boy done good’ Instagram posts (see also: “I can’t believe what this one got me!”) – MY ADVICE: don’t spend all day on Insta, enjoy the time with the people you are physically around.
- The family chat, right in the middle of Christmas dinner, at the table, whilst you’re in the middle of stuffing your face with a bit of turkey and your mums banging roast potatoes.
Nothing screams Christmas like being quizzed about your love life by your nan
But it’s fine, because I got me and you covered, with several different ways to answer the question everyone at the table is dying to ask. Whatever happens, and whatever awkwardness may come your way, I hope you have a brilliant day and end up in a food coma, if not completely pissed by 4pm.
Christmas is a time of giving, and I’d like to give you a huge thanks for being a cherished reader. Have a happy, happy holiday season and I look forward to connecting with you again in the New Year.
Stay safe and take care,
