Dizzee Rascal Will Be At The O2 London for Boy In Da Corner 20th Anniversary!

MY ABSOLUTE FAVE and UK legend Dizzee Rascal will mark the 20th anniversary of his Mercury Prize winning debut album Boy In Da Corner with an ICONIC headline show at The O2 in London!
After pushing a huge petition to get Dizzee Rascal to perform ‘Boy In Da Corner‘ in full LIVE in London, watching and hearing these songs at the Copper Box Arena in 2016 was monumental, the sold out show was a first for many. On that night Dizzee Rascal reclaimed his throne in front of an ecstatic home grown crowd, proving track-by-track why the album earned such legendary status and was deserving of the Mercury Prize Award it received in 2003 when Dizzee Rascal had took the world by storm at the young age of 18.
And now the living legend is back once again to mark the 20th anniversary of ‘Boy In Da Corner’ at London’s The 02 with what seems to be a promising event, bigger, better and even brighter as we are set to see the statement colours yellow and black appear EVERYWHERE!
It was grimeโs first and, arguably, best ever album. It announced grime to the mainstream โ when barely anyone knew what to call it back then #WotDoUCallIt ?? (Dizzee V Wiley beef pun intended) โ It was a distinct, quality production that gave introduction to the genre. It is a graphic snapshot of 90sโ and early 2000s East End poverty, a vivid painting of a boy leaving kidulthood being thrust into adulthood, secured yet vulnerable, all backed by 140bpm, and haunting sound effects.
As you can tell I am a Dizzee Rascal Boy In Da Corner SUPER FAN and will be hassling everyone I know on the 02 network to purchase me a presale ticket. Sorry Not Sorry.
If you saw how determined I was to get N Dubz tickets on my Insta stories then you will know:
I AM NOT FUCKING ABOUT!
Cheers to celebrating such an iconic album, Dizzee if you see this, I LUV U XOXO
Presale tickets will go live at 10am on Wednesday 5th October. General sale is on Friday 7th October!

Fix Up, Look Sharp
