Monthly subscriptions you can’t live without

Subscription boxes reign supreme as the ultimate gift – whether that’s for yourself (guilty) or a loved one.

Essentially the ‘subscription box’ is an upgraded version of a voucher, they’re as easy and quick to sort as an e-gift card, but far more thoughtful. Once you’ve handed over your money, someone else takes on all the effort of expertly curating, packaging, and shipping your gift and you get to sit back and take all the credit. The only hurdle is knowing what kind of subscription you need or want, given there are literally hundreds out there. To help, I’ve researched the top 5 subscriptions for 2022.

HELLOFRESH

HelloFresh is a rolling weekly meal kit delivery service with no minimum term or commitment. You choose what goes in your box and when you want it and they will deliver all the fresh ingredients to your door. And if you want to skip a week, cancel or change anything, that’s no problem. Choose from Rapid recipes, Calorie Smart dishes under 600 calories, Veggie meals and many more. Fancy something more? Dish up delicious dinners for your family and treat your friends to decadent Brunches and desserts. I love that their ingredients come bundled by recipe, so that you can easily take them from the fridge to the countertop and get started.

With designs that focus on seasonally fresh flowers and plenty of advice on how to arrange and style the selections, it’s a gift they’ll cherish all year long.

Grind is the perfect accompaniment for those who already own a Nespresso machine. Each month the recipient will get a Compostable Nespresso Pods Letterbox Refill Pack, which features 30 pods in three different blends – the House Blend has notes of chocolate and hazelnut, while the Black Blend includes lighter floral notes to match a heady caffeinated kick. There’s also a decaf version too.
