‘Fine dining at the heart of Islington. โ€ข Luxury cocktails โ€ข Gourmet menu โ€ข Exceptional service’

So, the rule of six is in place, days out are limited and one of my best friend’s deserved a celebration for her journey into motherhood but did not want a big hoo haa, even though she wanted all the pregnancy hype before the pregnancy. lol. you still getting it Lor Lor <3

The girls booked a table at the well located Tetto’s, situated across from Clissold Park which makes a really nice backdrop and adds to the feel of the place, very comfortable.

I’d been here before briefly for a drink, and I heard so many good things about the food so I was really looking forward to trying the menu and having a laugh.

Love to try a bit of everything so we ordered starters, one of my favourite things about eating out with the girls is when the waiter comes, we order what we want to order and then hear what everyone else is ordering and were like ‘yeah I’ll try that, ooh yeah I’ll have a bita that, yeah go on then why not’ … Love it.

All of the starters were yummm but the Gamberoni Alla Diavola and Calamari Fritti was bang on! Also tried the herby tomato and mozzarella arancini bites, hummus, halloumi & garlic pizza bread which was lovely, but my taste buds went mad for the prawns and calamari.

Before we continue and I tell you about my mains, I just wanted to add that I was very pleased to find that we were allowed to bring our own cake and balloons and Tetto’s had no problem with this (unlike other restaurants I’ve enquired with on occasions) Nikki had a gorgeous cake made for Lor Lor by Heidis Bakes serious baby girl vibes <3 was soooo yummy. Tasha sorted the balloons, and Tetto’s provided the perfect evening.

Back to the review, mains were really good, I was feeling like a right spice in my Nelly’s Boutique 2 piece so I went with the Penne Arrabiata, I must say it was a bit hotter than what I’ve come across in other Italian restaurants (maybe a next level chilli? Maybe I added too much black pepper? who knows.. ) but I really liked the kick in the arrabiata sauce.

Alongside the glass bottles of coke, we had cocktails obvs. I was in a pornstar martini mood so that’s exactly what I drank ๐Ÿ™‚

The staff here were very welcoming and attentive, they didn’t mind our ‘loud’ moment’s and were really quite fun, we ended the night on Tetto’s Instagram on a boomers with Tequila Rose shots #LOVE! (OJ for babymama)

The decor inside is very classy and delicate, there is a subtle elegant ambience when you walk in, following covid guidelines and the one way system did not hinder this one bit. With instagram worthy flower walls throughout, I was super happy I couldn’t make up my mind which one was my favourite!

As the evening went on, the view over the park became more and more beautiful. It’s a classy, yet comfortable, reasonably priced restaurant and I would Highly recommend.

THE LOOK

I wore this navy 2 piece from Nelly’s Boutique, I absolutely love this set, from the gold button detailing to it’s breathability, the set sits real nice on the curves.

My nails were still looking lovely with the design Kim did for me, you can check that design and see what other artistic nails Kim has created here.

I had my toes out didn’t I!

I went for a classic french polish on my toe nails – shaped and painted by the lovely Shanice at Islington Makeup Artist
