So it’s been a bit of a mad few weeks,

I would be lying if I said I hadn’t felt a huge weight on my shoulders, as much as I try to stay positive and open minded, there have been days where depression and anxiety have been apparent in full force.

The goal for me is to not let it consume me and to stay busy doing positive things that contribute to my personal growth.

I got some great advice from some lovely ladies recently who understood the conflicting emotions that I had been feeling and their support has been amazing. Whilst confiding my true feelings of anxiety and frustration it allowed me to come out of that and once again feel like I can reach for the stars and continue on my path that I am learning to trust.

And where did this path take me recently?

To some AMAZING events and put me in line for some great future collaborations with some super cool brands! Check them out below in my rundown of events.

PEACCI

The official launch of the PEACCI brand was celebrated by many influencers and bloggers who were invited to the beautiful event at The Vinyl Factory, Soho. In collaboration with The Gel bottle Benelux and The Influencers Diary we were treated to yummy rainbow bagels, Prosecco and offered the chance to create and mix our own nail colour.

I had a look around, spotted my good friends, beautiful mummy blogger/influencer Bella and Nathan who explained the gifting process to me and really made me feel comfortable so I chose myself the black PEACCI couture top (SO COMFY, the material is lovely!) and then queued up to mix my colour! I was very inspired by the Tiffany (&CO) colour so wanted something similar to that and came up with my own colour and name ‘Sisiana’ BUSS DOWN! (Obviously had to inject my personality into it.) With beautiful lights and Instagrammable aesthetics, the set up couldn’t have been more of a dream. Thank you for a brilliant evening and all my lovely goodies ๐Ÿ™‚

GLAMOUR GETS ACTIVIST ON:

BEAUTY WITH A CONSCIENCE with BareMinerals

In celebration of the launch of BareMinerals’ new Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick, the evening offered readers the opportunity to enjoy a selection of plant-based canapรฉs and refreshments while enjoying a panel talk on the subject of ‘Beauty with a Conscience.’ Panel host and GLAMOUR UK Beauty Editor Lottie Winter was joined by influencers Adrienne London, Ianthe Rose and SJ Froom to discuss loving the skin youโ€™re in and the rise of beauty with a conscience!

I met up with two of my influencer/blogger friends <3

at Oxford Street Station and we made our way to Vogue House to listen to an in depth talk from four amazing panelists that provoked my thoughts about looking in to using Vegan make up products, the discussion was well received and many had questions directed towards how make up brands and products aren’t always 100 percent Vegan or cruelty free, which then sparked founder to educate us on why BareMinerals are aiming to make all their products vegan but aren’t completely there yet, although they guarantee the products are 100 percent cruelty free.

Once the panelists had closed the discussion we were then lead to the room next door with a prosecco refill, where the new Complexion Rescue Hydrating products were displayed and MUA’s were waiting to test the new Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick on us! The lady who fleeked my cheek was called Gem, she showed me how to use the foundation stick with the accompanying BareMinerals brush and how lightly I could brush it on depending on the coverage I wanted, Gem made me up with a medium coverage and then used the Endless Glow Highlighter to accentuate the cheek bone and make my highlight POP! (I had another event to go to after this and even when I got home the cheek and glow was still looking pretty gooooood!) Thank you for my goodies, Thomson & Scott, Genie Drinks and Priโ€™s Puddings! Drinks and Cakes tasted amazing! BareMinerals the SKINLONGEVITY serum has been doing wonders for my skin!

The Drop is back!

They joined forces with E&J Brandy to bring you a series of events filled with the best live acts around, complemented with E&J all throughout the evening, setting the vibes for the night.

As you all know the last one was so bloody sick I didn’t want to go home! Sian Anderson & Nadia Jae were DJ’ing and Donaeo gave us a medley of his smash hits and live performance of his newest track ‘The Party’s Over Here

This time around we celebrated females that have been ALWAYS REAL! The line up included a HUGE performance from the queen herself Ms Banks as well as a trio of dope sets from award winning DJ Melody Kane, The Beat FM and BBC Radio 1Xtra’s multifaceted DJ and presenter Nadia Jae and rising talent Jay Dolce.

The bar was fully stocked with complimentary E&J drinks for all guests (told you they were bringing the vibes) as well as food from chicken joint Bird.

I saw Girls of Grime founder Shakira floating around with her neon vibesss (love that) and some of the sickest female MC’s the UK has ever seen including Frankie & Miz! I also caught up with some of the ladies I’ve been supporting and working with recently and it was a great little link up with ‘Galdem Sugar‘ stars Cassie Rytz and Pre Wavy!

Ms Banks was LIT! Everyone was dancing and enjoying the vibes, Ms Banks SHUTDOWN with a live performance of some of our favourite bangers including ‘Hood Chick‘ and ‘Snack!‘ It is always a joy seeing Ms Banks perform as she just goes from strength to strength and gets the crowd sooooo hyped! – Which is something I’ve repeatedly noticed from attending quite a few of her music performances and shows over the years. I managed to catch the lovely Wardah Sempa (LinkUpTV, BitchyOnline, TrendsTags) before everyone cleared off! Proper decent event in the heart of Central London!

Tracks I’m listening to at the moment?
