The Play Shop, a go to for any mother in Islington – stocked with cute little Spanish outfits, toys and unique one off exclusives for your babies and toddlers and a wide range of Nenuco products for all ages. A home grown business built up by Libby Marsh in the heart of Angel, Chapel Market. Visited by many residents and little ones this dainty shop is well loved by the community.

Partnering up with @highstreetpopup_  – Brought to us by Sarah & Nicola Cronin. A pop up fashion event where you can get high street fashion for huge discounted prices. Sisters Sarah & Nicola are now collaborating with accessory and statement fashion start up businesses to bring us even more affordable looks and great quality pieces such as dazzling crown headbands by Robyn.

I was personally invited by the girls to come down to the event and grab a bargain, so I did just that.

Why do I have so much faith and loyalty to these businesses you may ask?

Erm because I have always attended Sarah’s clothes parties, over several years – The quality is never compromised and I always leave with on trend garments, sold at such an affordable price!

The Play Shop is the only stockist remotely close to me and my sister Stevie, who loves to shop for occasion wear for her children there, not only does Libby select the best children’s outfits to put in her shop, but she always encourages the children to play, touch and look to really see what interests them. We physically do not have anywhere else local that imports all these cute Spanish Tudoresque children’s clothes and Nenuco!

Yes Girl’s I am forever a fan.

One thing I really liked about the Pop up event aside from great clothes and great prices was that I got to see some of the lovely ladies I grew up in the same area with, that I don’t usually have a chance to catch up with. I mean I did run there and back because I was on my work lunch break, so I wasn’t as social as I could be, but it was nice to see how well everyone looked, see their beautiful babies and talk about girly clothes stuff !

(You may be well aware by now that most of my conversations are about music.)

It was proper nice to see how many people from our local community are invested in these businesses because of real reasons – e.g good quality, local and affordable.

And not just because ‘That’s my friend init’

I bought a cute everyday black casual top (you can never have too many right?)

I also picked up a stunning animal print bodysuit which I paired with the ‘paper bag’ waist trousers that were belted with an on trend circular stone feature. 3 items for ÂŁ15 can’t go wrong.

I have events coming up all the time so I knew I would definitely need an outfit so this was perfect!

I got invited to Toronto-based rapper Pressa’s new album launch party, Pressa rose to prominence after the release of his hit single “Novacane” off his Press Machine mixtape. He opened for Drake on his Boy Meets World Tour in 2017 and again recently on his 2019 tour. So I put me gladrags on, was amazed to find that the animal print on the bodysuit really matched well with a pair of heeled sandals from Marks and Spencer and used my

Hermés Voyager bag <3

Check out my outfit below and be sure to follow the girls for updates!
